Ever wondered what is the most popular breed of dogs? What dogs do you see most in your local area?
Recently the American Kennel Club released its annual most popular list for the US. So what do you predict to be number 1 on the list?
To be honest I would be surprised if no one knew the number one, as it has been there for the past 26 years!
It would be more interesting if you could guess the rest of the top 10, perhaps you will find a few surprises. But I’m guessing many could name most in the top 10 anyway.

So there you have it, the Labrador Retriever is number 1 and has been for 26 long years! It’s no surprise as it is a versatile family friendly dog. An easy choice for most people looking for a dog.
The rest of the top 10 has remained steady also, the only difference this year being the Yorkshire Terrier falling 2 places from 7 to 9 on the list.
